But...oh dear. Um. It's only a week since my last post. I feel I should explain that my participation in fandom tends to be cyclical, depending upon how hectic RL gets; I HAVE regularly been offline for months at a time, over the past decade or so, when I've not been actively writing fic and/or RL has eaten me. Now that I'm podficcing as well as writing, I tend to focus on podficcing in the periods when I'm not actively writing; at the moment RL is getting a bit busy, and I'm also poking vaguely at writing a story. The more engaged I am with staying out of the apartment writing in coffee shops (quite apart from other RL things), the less time I am at home podficcing. (And RL things have been taking more of my time too, of late, and will continue to do so for a while.)

So - I mean, when I'm prolific, I am pretty damn prolific, but it's only a week since the last time I posted something. And in the past fortnight I have posted 13 1/2 hours' worth of podficcing. (Granted, not all in 'Sherlock' fandom, but...)

I'm afraid that I probably WILL be going for periods of a week or longer between podfics and/or posts at some point. Because it's always been the case.

Still, on the bright side I finished recording another story last night, after I got home!

LOL, but seriously. I totally understand. I know how it is with me and writing fanfics. When I started watching White Collar, I used to write a fic or two A DAY! Now, zip, nada, niente! And I feel so bad when people keep asking... >.<;;

I tend to move in cycles too: TV shows --> fanfiction --> writing --> books --> TV shows... etc. I'm never into two things at once :P

Also, I have a bunch of your podfics in other fandoms, like SGA and CWRPS and Merlin, so I'm all set :)

(Honestly, it's lovely having a UK fandom I &hearts, because it's so much fun to do the voices. I was always disappointed that I couldn't make any kind of stab at doing the voices for SPN podfics, and that my Englishness was a THING.)
