I'm really excited for this. The first audiofic of yours that I listened to (not to mention my second ever) was for An Act of Charity. And it was so gorgeous. Your voice is beautiful - and I'm assuming it's your voice, for I see know other was for it to be. Probably the most stunning and perfectly cultured female voice I'm ever head. So I'm really excited for this one. Thank you.

I never know how to comment, how to find another variation of OMG I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!!eleventyone. What are your feedback preferences for podfic (if applicable)?

I'm so happy you picked this fic. I loved reading it even though, or possibly because, it walks so close to the line of sociopath!Sherlock that it crosses into uncomfortable. Your reading somehow manages to take that away a little bit - it's still there, but your Sherlock voice makes him so human that his desperation shines brighter than, well, the danger.

I simply love your Sherlock voice, everything about it. When he's quiet, thinking, when you make him expressive, when he's annoyed with the world; when he's freaking out on the inside, the way you have him speak to John.

Thank you. I'm very glad you're reading so much in this fandom!

Did my happy dance, downloaded, and listened to this as soon as [personal profile] cybel posted it to [community profile] amplificathon. Loved it! Fantastic work, as always. I think you may be the voice of Sherlock in my head now. :D

Just wanted to say thank you, because your podfic has made a week spent mostly driving back and forth from the hospital not just bearable, but enjoyable.

Yeah, exactly! It always surprises me/kicks me out of the story if Sherlock is portrayed as more 'normal' than in the show. And also, he's such a unique, gorgeous character, it's a shame to try to make him the same as everybody else, or ignore the things that make him who he is. (Of course, it's possible I just enjoy reading about fucked up people. Winchesters, anyone? ^_~)

I stumbled across this while I was browsing around on jinjurly's archive and I was so, so incredibly excited to see that there was a podfic of this story. You did an absolutely amazing job with it and I think I need to go listen about a hundred more times. :D

I don't even. Just Wow. I apologize for incoherence, but that was such a wonderful recording I don't even know where to start. I recently watched all of Sherlock (the joys of being back at college) and so obviously the next step was to check out the archive. I was extremely happy to see you'd recorded podfic for the fandom already. And then I listened to this, extremely happy doesn't even cover it. This is a brilliant work of nuance in how you read, giving voice to characters as well as the tension of the story without ever once unbalancing between scary and hot. I'm not sure anyone else could have read this story and kept that. Really, it's amazing and I'm floored, and so so happy you share your podfic with us. You made an hour of fighting with the paper-slicer to divide pamphlets an enjoyable work experience, though I am fairly glad nobody bothered to check on me as I'm sure I was rather red for a good while there. Still, thank you, very much. I look forward to listening to more Sherlock podfic! ^^

I'm so happy that that our tastes in Sherlock fanfic are practically the same. I love this story and I love what you did with it.

This was a SPECTACULAR recording. I can't get over how well you interpret and read some of the most intense lines in this fic, not least of all this:

"I want to cut you open," Sherlock admits. "In fact I fully intend to."

God, you capture the power in his tone, the way he's sharing something so BIG and yet he's unapologetic about it. And then John, how he responds, how he BEGS. Just... beautifully done. Thank you for sharing this with us!

5/5 *

Oh this is BRILLIANT!!! Both the fic (and yes I am leaving the comment for the author too) and the reading of it. And let us not forget the choice, for you choose what to read, and you do it SO WELL!!! I very much enjoy all your podfics, but this is one of the best (aside from the student prince, which is still on top of the list)!
